We're proud to announce that we've finished restoring the screen captures for the DKC3 Player's Choice box. As always, we've mucked it up so that our hard work cannot be copied for free.
if you'd like to obtain a full color copy, then keep reading.
we do not have high quality scans of this game box. we are seeking scans of this box at 600dpi with descreening options enabled. leave us a comment if you have the box.

Surfing Tips
This post will address some issues that may arise while you are searching for SNES content.
First of all, collecting scans is a nice hobby. Since most of us cannot afford to buy a copy of every single game released for a system, it is nice to see the boxes and manuals of many games that we could not afford. The internet has a goldmine of data which allows us to expand/enrich our lives. Along with this experience comes the dark side of the internet. Many sites exist which will try to exploit your desires to relive the past. Now we will discuss a few sites that you should avoid.
The Old Computer
This site is horrid. I laugh at the idiot(-s) responsible for this garbage.
N.B.:Google is a search engine which will show you search results based upon a query. Google does not weed out the crap from the results, so you may be inclined to visit this landfill of a website.
First of all, the so-called box art is someones attempt to clean the boxes using cheap methods such as fill tools. If you look closely at the covers, they will hurt your eyes. What an idiot. This site does not have box scans. You need to avoid this site if you really seek scans of boxes. Stay away from the "i am not an artist but i will pretend to be one" websites.
The truth about this site? I am inclined to think that an idiot nicknamed shenske is behind this site. I cannot be certain but the artwork looks familiar (it is very bad. LOL).
One look at this garbage website and you can read the mind of the author(-s): i have all of the roms for the following systems [bla, bla, blah]. wouldn't it be great to make a site with all of the artwork too? yeah, that will be awesome. we will call it the old computer. it will be great.
Not! Hey, oldcomputer people: keep your day jobs...
incidentally, i believe that the top members are associated with the cover project too. same crappy art, same crappy personalities.
The Cover Project
I think that a Rob Zombie song title can summarize this site: Scum of the Earth.
I absolutely hate this site. I've seen it pop up numerous times in search results. I looked around a bit and studied the site and its top members. Here is what i've discovered: I found an old forum where you can read some posts about retro box scans. The top posters? the owner of nintendoage and the owner of coverproject. These two idiots are so mentally immature that you can read their minds:
we have game boxes that we own, so we can scan them for rom art. But we do not own all of the games. How can we get people to scan their boxes? we'll make a forum and post a few scans like we don't know each other and try to get the ball rolling...
Coverproject site was made not long after this forum. The coverproject is not just a useless site looking for your scans. The operators have other plans: let's try to make money with this stuff. They try to sell boxes for printed covers. I've also noticed a weirdo named wiggy that uses his cad-school dropout bitterness to try to sell custom handheld cases. LOL. Furthermore, the so-called covers that they post are awful! want-to-be artists that also lack good pc skills. Run far away from this site full of trolls and basement dwellers.
Run, Toto, Run!
N.B: i've collected a list of links to scans from tcp. Now you don't have to be a loser and visit this horrid place. I'll post links later...
Snes Central
I know for a fact that the owner of this site is also associated with tcp. I've seen his posts. As far as snescentral goes, it is a useless site for many reasons. You probably just want scans of game boxes and not someone wasting your time, right?
badinsults uses the word scan to mean low-resolution images that he posts on his "i want to make a site like gamefaqs for snes" website. This guy is a loser. He daydreams about success but never attains it. For some strange reason, he admires sites like gamespot and gamefaqs. Half of the data on the site is incorrect and oddly organized. What a weirdo. I will summarize this site by saying "useless, unattractive, poorly coded wasteland."
badinsults has posted oo scans at nintendoage and tcp but you don't need to visit any of these sites to get the scans. we'll post links later...
Vimm's Lair: The Manual Project
You probably see this site in Google search results but stay away from it if you just want scans of manuals. The scans at this site are awful. Even if you think that something is better than nothing, do remember this: the idiot that runs this site has the audacity to watermark the site address on each manual in pdf format. What a loser. Hey, vimm, you are not the creator of the game or the manual. You have nothing to do with it so stop putting your mark on the manuals. LOSER.
i will post links to scans that do not contain marks and are not in pdf format later...
GameScanner.org
another want to be artist with useless garbage. you may see a logo and think that it is a high-res version that he found somewhere on-line. You will probably think that he got it from Nintendo or the game dveloper but he did not. He tries to use photo editing software to make the logos look nicer but he ruins the actual logo in the process. look closely at his garbage artwork: he damages the actual artwork. the geometry is not the same, the colors are not the same and he sometimes adds his own ideas to the artwork. This site is useless. No need to bite the hook and visit it. By the way, he is another loser associated with the coverproject.
NintAndBox.net
Nintandbox actually does have scans but the quality is not very good. If you will settle for something over nothing, then you can download from this site. The scans can be somewhat useful. However, be aware that idiots at nintandbox also mess up the artwork by trying to clean it. Be sure to avoid the re-touched garbage here. By the way, a few tcp members are also members here too.
NintendoAge
I am already stressed out enough typing about the other uselss sites mentioned above. I have no more energy for this loserville website too. You will not find good scans at this site but some of the resized stuff that they post can be acceptable if you really need something. Otherwise, move on quickly.
well we hope that you realize how much garbage is floating around the web. Try to stay safe and avoid the basement dwelling freaks of society like those mentioned above.
Happy Gaming and cover scanning.

Welcome Message
Welcome! Let's get down to B15NES (business changed to represent
SNES, or Super Nintendo). Here you will find info about the classic
video game system known as Super Nintendo/Super NES/SNES. The Japanese
system is called Super Famicom/SFC.
We like to collect raw scans of game boxes, cartridge labels and manuals. Box front, box back or cover front/cover back scans. We like to clean the scans and recreate screen captures for use with our future Game Museum.
Links have been collected from various sites around the web. We'll post links so you don't have to join alot of useless forums just for content.
Retro gaming may not be B16 B15N3S, But we got you covered...
